Frequently Asked Questions

Subscription

We offer three types of public subscriptions for our VPT software. All subscriptions include full VPT TakeOff/Landing Dispatch/Landing Enroute/Weight and Balance calculations, ensuring identical results across the board. The difference lies in additional functionalities, the number of aircraft variants, and the maximum allowed calculations.

To select the perfect subscription for your needs, it's essential to define your requirements, as you know them best.

Here are some guidelines:

  • VPT Lite: Designed for beginners and intermediate virtual pilots who fly occasionally on weekends and prefer a budget-friendly option.
  • VPT Standard: Tailored to meet the needs of virtual pilots who fly regularly. This subscription includes access to more aircraft variants, live NOTAM, and features aimed at enhancing the flight experience, such as the Quick Reference Handbook (QRH).
  • VPT Pro: Geared towards hardcore virtual pilots and educational purposes. This version offers an extremely high calculation limit and includes advanced features such as Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and Configuration Deviation List (CDL).

You can also take a short quiz to find the subscription that suits you best.

Don't forget to try out our Demo before making a purchase!

We have decided to open our calculation core to third-party developers. This means you can use your API key in any approved tool and use your subscription in their system without any additional cost. Due to this system, we cannot check your IP address or your Hardware ID. To avoid piracy, we have decided to limit the allowed calculations in a way that it would be totally transparent to a regular user.

We are willing to adapt any limitation if it is statistically necessary.

The calculation limit is based on a count for the last 30 days of use. This means that the limit is updated along the month, and not from the 1st to the 30th.

Despite some surprises about our strategy, after explaining to the customer, no one complained or was ever limited with our ultimate subscription (VPT Pro).

Yearly subscriptions add extra calculations that allow users to go over the limit, ensuring they can use the tool effectively.

Additionally, there is a list of "demo airports" where the count of calculations is not taken into account.
